Well the joke is on me.
First difficulty was finding the name of this. Yes I think I'm getting old, and need new contacts, because the clear label with the black lettering on the bottom was torture to read against this colour. But finally i found out it is adornment.
The second difficulty with this polish was that it took 5 coats to get what you will see. 5 coats...sigh, I'm far too lazy for this polish. Yes for £4, this tiny bottle seemed like a steal, but if I had to do 5 coats to get an opaque colour, I will not be getting many manicures out of this bottle,
And last but not least, the biggest difficulty that I had with this polish was the short stubby brush.
Where did all my beautiful red, orange, yellow, green holo flakies disappear too.
Such a disappointment. Despite the lack of flakie transfer from bottle to nail, this is still a beautiful colour. It looks like sparks of flames on your nails, and I really like the contrast of the dark grape jelly to the orange flakies that do appear.
Has anyone purchased anything recently that they were disappointed with?
This is so pretty! I'm going to have my friend hunt this down.
ReplyDeleteIt also comes in a 4 pack for £15, which is slightly cheaper than buying all 4 for £4 each. But what you really want is Gypsy Night, which is suppose to be similiar to SOPI 212. That can only be bought in a 3 pack however for £12 :)
ReplyDeleteI just bought this too (and couldn't read the damn name). So pretty in the bottle, but fail on the nail. Marginally better as a layering polish but still flakie-light - grrrgghh
