The sun has disappeared so my plan to do more nail polish swatches went out the door. BUT...I have something else to show you all. My new Alexander Wang poncho that I got off of ebay for around 75% off the retail price. I'm going on holiday soon, and although it is going to be hot during the day, I'd like to have something light to throw over in the evenings. This light and super comfortable poncho was perfect for just that. It has a mock hoodie (which is odd but actually interesting), and extremely roomy. I love the minimalist and sporty look to this garment.
(All photos belong to the ebay seller and not me)
My heart (and purse strings) are attached to AW, and that love affair is still going on.
I am just so excited that I actually had to blog this. My most coveted bag is actually going to be mine in 3 months time. I am going to buy this off of someone, and she has graciously given me 3 months to pay it off. Expensive designer bags are something that I can't really afford on my current wage, but when it's drawn out into monthly installments, it seems cheaper for some reason LOL! I have promised myself that I will cut out buying Starbucks coffee for 3 months in order to afford this bag...yep that's how I rationalized it in my head. I was spending £3.30 for a caramel macchiato (roughly $5 usd), so no more Starbucks and HELLO my rococo :)
Other than that, life is still hectic and I need blog more :)
Hello beautiful ladies! The sun finally peeked here after 8 (or was it 9?) days of rain. I have been working my a$$ off, and basically have been consumed with trying to keep up with everything going on with my life. Although, I'm finding myself being spread out thin, I'm still chugging along :)
I have been doing some massive Spring cleaning and spring hauling this past week, and I'm finally getting around to showing you some of my bargain garments that I actually scored in the last 2 weeks. Sorry beauty addicts, my beauty purchases have come to a complete halt as I went a little overboard and went over my budget last month. Having said that, I can't wait until May 11th and May 25th when the new Chanel nail polishes hit the UK! I am also drooling over the new Strangebeautiful sets (which aren't available yet over here). I can't wait until I can one day get my paws on these.
Ok, so here are my new clothes. I have no desire to drop big cash on clothes these days as I'm getting my clothes so dirty at work, and so I'm always looking for cheap goodies.
First up, my new Alexander Wang jacket. I was so excited for this jacket to arrive, and once it arrived I have to admit that I was a bit disappointed in the quality of the item. The design is so freaking cool, but it wasn't as tailored as I thought it would be. It easily looses its' shape....luckily I didn't drop heavy cash on this, so I can't really complain. I'm not sure about the retail, but it's AW, so I'm assuming it retailed well over £150 easy, I paid £25. I'm still trying to figure out where and how I'm going to wear this unique blazer jacket.
Next item is a Vince silk dress that I picked up from TK Maxx for £29. A similar dress is going for £315 on NetaPorter. This dress feels like heaven, and I couldn't resist the bargain. I also wanted something more "summer" and I'm trying my best to wear colour.
New Look was having this massive sale, and the leopard dress that I actually wanted was sold out, so I tried to console myself and bought this number for £8. Cute and simple, but it's one of those things that after 20+ washes, it will be binned probably :/
Here's another purchase from TKMaxx. This cardigan is from Les Folies. It reminded me of Sonia Rykiel, but for £16, I could live with myself...although, I would die for a real Sonia Rykiel cardigan :)
This skirt was bought from my charity shop. It was brand new with tag and from the Marks & Spencer's limited edition line. I paid around £2 for it :)
So those are just a few items that I picked up. I just ordered the Vivienne Westwood rain boots that I have been lemming for, so once those come, I'll do another post.
In the meanwhile, please head over to my ebay auction, if you are interested in the Gosh Holographic nail polish, and also interested in helping out the RSPCA. Thank you :)
So, have you been doing massive Spring Cleaning? or Spring Hauling?
Until next time, take it ez lovelies!
******************************** TUNE OF THE DAY Janet Jackson - Velvet Rope
It has been 3 years since I purchased a bag. Partially due to the fact that my funds were tied up in my move to England. I recently decided to treat myself and I couldn't say no this amazing bargain. So here I am introducing my new bag :)
Big shout out to my girl who mailed this to me from the states xx
Oh how I love the buttery leather, ample room, and the hardware. I can't tell you how much I love it :)
The rrp is £900 for the trudy (yes I know, absolutely insane). You can buy yours at outnet.com for £400. The colour is not the same, but they have two separate brown tone colours. The stock photo on outnet does not do this bag justice.
I'm not saying this to brag, but I was able to nab this beauty for $150 USD. So this was a bargain of the century for me. I'm so happy about this, and I have been stroking this bag all day long haha.
I'm such a huge Alexander Wang fan and this is my very first AW bag :) So I couldn't help but share this purchase with you all!
I also figured out my next bag purchase. It will be quite sometime, but this is my next bag. This is the Alexander Mcqueen clutch RRP £315. Yikes, time to save up lol.
Until next time, take it ez lovely ladies :)

TUNE OF THE DAY
Mobb Deep - Shook Ones Part II
I never thought that one designer could capture my style each and every season, but Alexander Wang does. This is just a few of the pieces from his current sale that I really love.
His minimal, modern and slightly edgy and androgynous yet sexy cuts are what keeps my heart thumping for each and every collection for the last 4 years.
This is where I shed a tear for not having the funds to revamp my wardrobe with several pieces. Maybe in another lifetime for me.
I can't believe it is October. I would have moved to England 7 months ago. Wow. Time really does fly. Well it's gorgeous here and we're having an "Indian Summer". I love it, but I'm also looking forward to my favourite fall weather. With Fall comes new beauty and fashion trends.
Here are my lemmings for October. You will notice that I have added non beauty items.

YSL Shocking mascara in Black Burgandy
I quite like slightly tinted mascara, I think every brand should do this.

Dior Mitzah Quint
You slap the word "Limited edition" in front of anything and it will drive me crazy!
I love this palette along with the other Mitzah leopard palette (which I have yet to get also).
Dior is killing me this season!

I don't wear dresses, but if I do they are always black.
Here is the latest from Alexander Wang that really caught my eye.
Definitely out of my budget, but I'll be watching this around January when the price will drop significantly :)
(edit)
I completely forgot to add this necklace that I saw recently in a magazine, and have not been able to take my eyes off of it. Just the right amount bling, and it's long. You all know how I love my long necklaces!

And lately I've been on a hunt for black knee high wedge boots!
I can't find a pair that I like, what's up with me?
If you see any, comment below and let me know please.

Ahhh the Monday blues. Technically I'm not allowed to use this statement since I left my office job so there shouldn't be anymore Monday blues, but it's still is a melancholy Monday for moi.
Project 10 pan is going well, I'm almost done 1 product, had to substitute one of my items, because I gave it away. Overall, I'm really showing some self discipline.
I have no photos due to my sucky camera yet again, so I will just ramble :)
Here are some things that I found that I bookmarked.
SPARITUAL POLISH BARGAIN FIND
Click here for Sparitual polishes for only 2.95 pounds (makes it about $5 for us heads). The colors are limited, but I know it's a hard polish to get at this price range, so grab it if you aren't on a ban.
ASOS ASOS.com is having their up to 70% sale. So tempted, help!!
ETSY TREASURES
I found this amazing designer, Ella Lai on Etsy I will be sending this designer my measurements to custom make some of her designs.
Here are some of my favorite pieces by her.
Love her minimalist adgy style!
And of course I stare and drool at the Alexander Wang rocco bag everyday, but what else is new.
Love is an understatement, perhaps obsessed is a better word right now.
I have this dream that one day I'll win the lotto and can have an all Alexander Wang wardrobe. I don't think I felt this way about a designer before. Although, I don't technically own anything by Alexander wang other than some T By Alexander Wang tops and dress that I got during his sale, I regret not purchasing more from this NY designer before I left the states.
I am putting some money away slowly (pound here and there) that one day I can afford the Rocco bag. I'm hoping that the hype around these bags can die down, so that I can score one at a good price, but I doubt it.
But....I fell in love today with one of his shoes from this season. I'll be waiting a few months before I try to nab these at a sale price.
Behold, the noemi combat boots, currently $685...yeah, I definitely have to wait until these go on sale, and they usually do.
Last week, I missed out on the Jodi bag on ebay by 2.50 cents. Can you believe it!!?!?!?! ugh, I hate losing auctions, especially by that little.
So my Wang obsession continues...
What's your favorite Wang piece? or piece that you are lemming for?
