Topshop Haul

Killing time is dangerous when there is a Topshop nearby. Today's haul ladies & gents...

A very cheap ring for only £1 at Topman.

wearing Chanel - Peridot

A pair of sandals which aren't really my style but they were £12 from £28 and I am lacking in cheap flats to wear on holiday (whenever that may be lol).

£13 down...I swear it is so hard for me to save. I do love my items, but of course the guilty feelings come with it as I'm saving up for some heavy hitting items like my Rococo, CL simples, Ray ban way farers, and of course my cruise that I've been dreaming about.  On top of that, my visa renewal is going to cost me £580, so I really shouldn't be spending money on accessories, but bah...I did, and I can't go back now haha.

I also got Chanel - June today with my Boots points, so I will do a post on that soon.

Well this is just going to be a short & sweet post, as I have so much work to do left today, and the weather is so hot that it's making me cranky and lethargic :)

Have a fantastic rest of the day!

Topshop Freedom Jewellery Haul

It's no surprise that I have a weakness for the massive UK fashion house Topshop. It also doesn't help that I have to pass one everyday to get my bus to go home. Some days when I need a pick me up, I just run in there and see if there is a sale going on in the jewellery units...and 9 times out of 10, there is lol

I literally had 5 minutes to pick, check out, and run to my bus.  These are my new beauties. I love them (goes without saying) and they were all £3.50 each with the exception of the gold ring which was £2.50.

I finally have a day off tomorrow, but of course it doesn't mean I have time to lounge about...sigh. I will be up early, taking Oscar to the groomers, and then working for the rest of the afternoon. It's definitely not going to feel like a day off.

Let me know if you've been doing any hauls? I've love to see, SHOW N TELL! ;)

Charity Shop Haul

I recently started to work at a charity shop, and that is so bad for me as I am always buying something. I don't even know if I actually want this stuff, but for the price I have been buying.

I spent less than £3 for everything.  I keep telling myself that I need to stop buying little things and save up for something substantial, but I just couldn't resist myself :)

Who else likes charity shopping? I'd love to see what bargains you have gotten xx.

3 weeks of hauling

I've been working, working, working, shopping, working, sleeping, eating, sleeping, shopping, and working :)  You see a pattern there? Well this is my haul for the last few days, and also a reveal of a wonderful package from a lovely chic.

So without further ado, here are my new goodies.

First up are a few topshop and charity shop bargains that I picked up.  It's so easy to buy accessories.

Then I was bitching about how I didn't have any clothes, so in the midst of my self pity I went to H&M and picked up some items.

I especially love my cape coat.  I like the material and colour, because it brings a casual feel to this garment.  There was only one left and it was slightly too small for me, but a little tailoring at home allowed me to open it up, and now it fits like a glove.

So that's what I treated myself with, but the special treat actually came from across the pond.  An awesome chic sent me these nail polish goodies.  I have been having a hard time with my nail polish ban and it was such an awesome treat to get these stunning pieces in.

The first set is one that I have wanted forever, but just couldn't justify the cost.  Having said that, once I actually had it in my hands, I think it is worth every penny.  I just love Barney's and all their creative collaborations.  Sure, I'm not a Lady gaga fan, but I think her fashion sense is edgy and this polish set captures that.  I can't express how much I love this!

Deborah Lippmann Edge of Glory Set

Behold the flakey goodness ....oh DL, you always do us proud.

What could be in this???????

A sea of sparkle and colour.
NerdLacquer mini collection set

Sadly, I'm in a no glitter phase in my life, but it doesn't mean it's not gorgeous to look at, and this is a stunning set to have when I get back into glitter.

Sorry again that I haven't blogged in forever, but I'm hoping that you guys enjoyed the haul and I'll talk to you guys & gals again soon :)

Last Night's Accessories: Topshop, Models Own, Gosh, Louis Vuitton

Last night, I met up with a forum friend for dinner and movies.  It's so nice to see a friendship blossom from seeing them on a public forum, to an email, to a day out shopping, and then to a friendship.  We saw "The Woman in Black".  If you are a Hammer horror fan, you may be pleased at the modern Hammer film.  There was a good 15 seconds, where I froze in fear.  It was great!  :)  So last night, this is what I rocked.  Sorry I don't have an OOTD, but here are my accessories.

I was still rocking my sponge nails, these are the polishes that I used:  Models Own Aciid and Gosh Lavender Love.

Models Own £5 - Gosh £4.99

I took another photo of this manicure, as my other post had an Instagram version.  Then, I pulled out a small bag, which is quite rare for me. I'm always using big bags, but for some reason, I wanted to pull this bag out.  This is the original Louis Vuitton x Stephen Sprouse graffiti pochette, circa 2001.  This bag has a lovely story behind it, and I will always remember the kind lady that gave this bag to me, and I will never forget her :).

I also wore a new pair of earrings that I picked up at Topshop. It was a total impulse buy, but it looked fabulous last night, so I'm happy that I did buy it.

Topshop - £4

Then I woke up this morning from a horrible nightmare.  I was still a bit shaken from it, when I learned about the death of Whitney Houston.  What I'm about to say is very obvious, but I was a child in the 80's, and I remember her rocking MTV.  I will always remember her as the songbird diva.  We all have our demons, and that doesn't make us who we are.  I believe that what we accomplish in life is what makes us who we are, so I will always have respect for this amazing singer, and wish her a safe passage to the light, and condolences to her family.

What I remember most of Whitney Houston (other than the obvious chart topping "I will always love you") was this female power anthem.  "It's not right, but it's ok, I'm gonna make it anyways" rings true to every woman out there who has ever been cheated on.  Thanks Whitney for this liberating song, RIP.

New NOTD, New Storage, New Shoes

Ok, so I want to show you guys how excited I am about this new storage system that DH has bought me...ok, now don't get all jealous because my DH is not the type of guy who notices anything that I like haha.  He bought it after I drilled it into his head that I needed new storage equipment hahaha.  So yes, after much bitching, he could no longer resist and purchased this for my birthday lol.

I was searching onine for an acrylic storage set that wasn't Clear Cube nor Muji.  I love the look of a see-through storage set, but I wasn't about to pay those kinds of prices.  I already have a MUJI flip top lid narrow 2 tier acrylic storage unit.  Sure, I paid less because I won it off of ebay, but the retail of this tiny tiny unit was £8.50 for the 17.5(w) x 13(d) x 9.5(h)cm unit.  I mean seriously?  If you read my blog, then you probably are just as big (or bigger) beauty product fanatic, and that wouldn't even hold 10% of our collection.  I personally didn't know how small these units were, so that was my bad, but since then I have done my research and MUJI cases are quite expensive, especially since you need like 3-4 to get to the size of 1 clear cube unit.  Speaking of Clear Cube, I'm sorry but unless you got money like that, Clear Cube is a HUGE investment, and frankly I just don't have the funds nor the balls to fork over $275-$400 on a makeup storage unit.  I would much rather buy shoes or makeup with that money haha.  But I will say that Clear Cube units do looks very lovely, and I can definitely see the allure of those.  Anyways, enough blabbing..let me show you what was ordered today.

This is by Osco, a office solutions company.  It is a 3 tier acrylic paper sorter.  It is quite deep and spacious and I love it.  I initially found it lone and then went into town to actually see it for myself, and it is the same quality as Muji.
I will be getting two of these units.
The dimensions are 13.7(h) x 23.9(w) x 32.2(d)

It is very very spacious ladies, and it doesn't look like the typical papersorter.
I think two units of this will take care of 90% of my stash, and I'm so excited.

They retail for £27.99 each at Rymans, ebay and Amazon.
But if you act before Jan 15th, Home Base sells these for £20.99 and
currently you can get there is 15% off (PROMO CODE: DISC15)

I think I'll upload my first video onto youtube, once I get this unit and my set up is all organised.  This way you guys can see the difference between this and my MUJI acrylic storage items. I'm super excited to get these.  My inner OCD and methodical side will be satisfied once I'm able to finally get my stash organised. YAY!

I saw these in town the other day, and I think I need them.
Topshop is a danger zone for me.  They steal my money all the time, and I honestly don't know how they do it.  I need new flats, as I walk around so much here in England now vs. being in the states where I use to just hop into my car.  I saw these for £28 and I didn't buy them, but I will.  I did a little google search and they seem quite popular with the young girls.  I dunno, sometimes I wonder if I dress too young for my age haha, but then I think, who the f- cares, as long as makes me happy right? lol.

TOPSHOP Vectra3 Studded Flat Slippers
(sorry about the crappy iphone spy pic)
I just can't justify the Christian Louboutin pair (which clearly Topshop drew their inspiration from), as I'm trying to save up the Louboutin black decollete 100 as I need them a bit more.  I don't any close toe black pumps? What is wrong with me?
I know this isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I need these...yeah, need them baaadddddd.

And next is something not as exciting, but....my love for instagram, and my lack of creativity to do nail art has bumped heads and created these mannequin hands of mine.
The polish is Nails Inc Basil Street.
I know I haven't done a NOTD in a long time.  I'll be honest with you, I am getting a bit bored with NOTD.  I was doing them so much, and then it just seemed so mundane.  I know a lot of my followers are nail lovers, so I'll make more of the effort to show you my NOTDs :)

Well hope everyone is having a safe & lucky Friday the 13th.
I'll be back very soon with the review on the awesome awesome
Benefit "They're Real" Mascara!

A mini haul and great cheap finds

I had to go into town for an errand, so I popped into my usual shops.  I spent a total of £2.25 and came home with some really awesome finds!

Topman Ring - £1
Revlon nail polish in Galaxy - £1
Lavender cuticle remover - 25p

Galaxy looks so gorgeous!

I'm so glad to have picked this up at Poundland.
They didn't have another one, otherwise I would have picked up several as gifts.

I love these rings from Topman.
They are just so unique, and despite being slightly big, I am still going to rock them!

So not too bad for £2.25 right?
Don't shy away from Topman or Poundland ladies, there are some cheap gems to be found :)

I'll be doing a manicure with Galaxy tonight, and hopefully will have a NOTD post tomorrow for you all.  Also, there is 4 hours left of my Christmas blog giveaway, so please enter if you are in the UK.

NOTD and AOTD plus other ramblings

Do you have one of those days when you wish you never woke up? Today is THAT day for me.  So I'm attempting to blog and get my mind off of things.  I'm so happy that I have this blog to just vent, rant, and ramble on and on about god knows what.  I really am thankful to have this outlet.

So yeah, things just kept piling on and on, and I have been doing my best to keep my cool.  So far so good!  Here's to hoping that tomorrow is a better day :)

This post is a compilation of several things: Nail of The Day, Accessory of the Day, and some small hauls.

First...remember a few days ago I blogged about getting some free pigments from Coke rewards program? Well can you believe they arrived today? Talk about fast dispatch. WOW!

They are pretty, just not sure if it's colours I will use.  But the size of the pot is pretty generous, and I can see these being really great side gifts.

So next up, I was not feeling so great, so I picked this polish that's a tad vampy, murky, and matte.  I guess that's my mood today???? lol

George's Troll is the polish, and I wanted to show you all my awesome awesome awesome duster ring that I got from Topman for £2 on sale.  I'm in LOVE with topman jewellery these days, especially the rings.  There is something just very sterile, edgy, and modern about their rings.

LOVE IT!
Did I tell you I love it? haha!

So yes, something so simple as a ring is making my mood slightly better.

I think it's time for a cocktail tonight - yes I told you it's just one of those days.
Tonight's cocktail will be vodka, apple juice, and some Cinnamon to top it off with.  If I write something crazy after this, you know not to hold it against me :p

Goodnight lovelies xx

My September Lemmings

Hello lovelies! It's that time again. Another month gone, and another month of lemming after some really beautiful things.  I don't have that many new lemmings, because I have yet to acquire the items from my previous lemming posts haha.

But I have some beauties for you...

First up!
The Chanel Les Jeans Collection

I love blue.  I mean I really do love blue. I wore blue when it was "odd" to wear blue on your nails.  I must own this! Time to save up my pennies and pray it hits the UK around Christmas time.

Lanvin - Eclat D'arpege

I need to get another bottle of this.  This will be my 3rd bottle that I have owned.  It is a richer (and I mean it last longer) than D&G Light Blue, but has similar notes and is just a wonderful fresh perfume.  Oh I must have you again.

Photo taken from Lyndrella's blog

Lyndrella's Connect The Dots
This is a polish that I have slept on.  I don't know why I never noticed this before, despite having friends who have purchased this polish, but it's HOT! It's like the next "crackle" look. I love it, I'm imagining this against hot neon pink or a bright opaque yellow!

Sneaking in a non -beauty items (GASP!)
Topshop's Teardrop Ring

You either love it or hate it, I love it, and need to get this!!!!!

And that's it ladies....
What items are you lemming??

My Topshop Jewellery Wishlist

I really blame topshop for my inability to save money for bigger purchases.  I go in there and all of a sudden I'm easily down £20.  £20 isn't a lot, but when you keep adding it up, next thing you know, I suddenly can't afford the bigger items.  I was just on their website again tonight, and found so many accessories that I MUST have!
Drool-worthy....what do you think?

The ring is so similar to the YSL arty ring that I just can't swing at the moment! So I think I'm going to try to fit my nubs into one ;)

I just love these geometric/asymetric shapes! Ahh...how I love topshop!

Shopping Haul: Chanel, True Religion, Topshop & More

Shopping with friends is always so much more fun!  I was bad and I did break my ban :( but to be fair, I didn't spend a lot, and I just couldn't resist the deals, and once you see my haul, I hope you can agree with me why I couldn't resist.

I couldn't say no to this necklace at £1.50 from topshop.

I actualy love this scent by True Religion.  I hate their ads, and their packaging, but this perfume reminds me of D&G's Light Blue. So when I saw this 80% sticker on it, I was quite interested. I had to find out how much it was, and at £2.66 I COULD NOT RESIST.
The lotion smells soooo good!

Now anyone who talks to me, knows I've been dying to get my hands on these eye creams by Chanel! I absolutely wanted them, and I am so happy to get a hold of them.  They are £22.50, but I got mine for £2.50 because I had a £20 voucher that I accumulated up using the Debenhams Beauty card program!  Bargain at £2.50!!!!!!
I picked up Illusoire and was able to try them all, and I never said this about a collection before, but I really want them all!

So far my total isn't that bad, and I really could have just been happy with spending £6.76, but my friend wanted to go into H&M, and I'm so glad she did.
Coming in at a whopping £10, I got myself this army military style jacket!!!

I absolutely love this look, and this jacket comes with a hood, which is so necessary in rainy England.  It fit with a little room left for some bulky clothes underneath if necessary, and at £10 I'm just so happy to have picked this up (the only one left in clearance too)!

So yes I spent £16.76 and I was on a ban :( but now you see why I couldn't resist buying these things.  I really couldn't resist, and I wanted to share this haul with you guys, because there are still some really good summer sales out there! So go now before it's all over.
